Spacious classrooms and free play and activity zones are designed such that every student gets the teacher’s maximum individual attention while enabling the teacher to conduct group learning sessions. In addition to the regular class rooms there are a number of other rooms like the Student resource center, Audio-Visual room, Art and Craft rooms to facilitate better learning.Class rooms are ergonomically designed and comfortable furniture adds to the learning environment.
An ultra-modern Science Lab at R. K Public School Ujhani, will be designed to spark creativity and interest in the basic sciences. The Science lab will also provide an open environment for students to experiment and do research work. Under the professional guidance and assistance of the science teachers, students will be encouraged to exhibit their creative skills. The main lab will also have a special area ‘Junior Science Lab’ where students of the middle school will get a hands-on experience.
The main resource Centre for the students and the faculty at R. K Public School will be the state-of-the-art Library. The vast collection will mainly comprise textbooks, reference books, fiction titles, periodicals and audio-visual material like CDs and VCDs. Separate areas will house the collection of syllabus-based textbooks (according to classes), fiction titles (primary and secondary) as also periodicals and audio visual materials. In addition, a vast collection of titles including Encyclopedias, dictionaries; atlases, thesaurus, etc. will be available to the students and the teachers for their day-to-day teaching and assignment work. The Library will house a teacher resource section too for preparing the study material and worksheets.
Computer Aided teaching sessions will hold a special place at R. K Public School which will give our students the winning edge in a competitive world. Students will have the pleasure of learning various topics with the help of computers. A research-oriented approach will be encouraged and frequent analysis of projects will help students to orient themselves with the rapidly changing requirements of the world outside.
A well-equipped Math Lab at R. K Public School will provide students with the opportunity to have fun with numbers. It will create a challenging atmosphere for students to put their mathematical abilities to test and enhance their analytical reasoning and lateral thinking through various games and activities. We instill and develop the observation skills in students to derive formulae. In the Math Lab, games will be organized, models will be made, quizzes will be conducted and projects will be exhibited. Thus, the complete learning process will be done through practical means. Experiments will be performed based on the concepts dealt in the syllabus. Various kits will be designed and used to derive the formulae.
R. K Public School organizes health check up camp annually where every student of R. K Public School undergoes health check-up once in a year by the doctors of reputed hospitals. The checks include eye, dental, ENT, pediatric and general. Computerised records of the medical history of each child is maintained by the school.
